About us

Founded in 1986, the British Onion Producers' Association Ltd was formed with the objective of improving quality standards and ensuring year round continuity of quality British onions. The association aims to disseminate information to members to help secure the profitability of growing British onions, thereby encouraging exports and development of better varieties and improved growing techniques with the help of the Horticultural Development Council.
